Meet Alice Webb
Qualified Integrative Counsellor & Registered Member of the BACP
Hi, I’m Alice.
I’m a qualified integrative counsellor and Registered Member of the BACP (MBACP), offering a warm, down-to-earth and non-judgemental space where you can genuinely be yourself.
I know reaching out for counselling can feel like a big step, especially if you’re used to coping on your own or putting other people first. You don’t need to know exactly what you want to talk about, have the right words, or arrive with everything figured out. We can start wherever you are.
For me, counselling is about creating a relationship where you feel safe enough to talk openly, without judgement or pressure. A space where you can feel heard and understood, explore what’s happening for you and begin to make sense of things at your own pace.
My core approach is Person-Centred, which means I believe you are the expert on your own life. I also work integratively, drawing on different therapeutic approaches and adapting the way I work to you as an individual. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to counselling, and I believe the relationship we build together is an important part of the work.
How I can help
I have experience supporting people with anxiety, depression, domestic abuse, low self-esteem, trauma, relationship difficulties and the lasting impact of difficult life experiences.
Sometimes you may know exactly what has brought you to counselling. At other times, it can be harder to put into words — you might just have a sense that something doesn’t feel quite right, or notice that the same feelings or patterns keep showing up in your life or relationships.
I believe the therapeutic relationship itself can be a powerful part of the process. My role isn't to tell you what to do or to judge the choices you've made, but to walk alongside you with empathy, honesty and compassion as we explore what's happening for you and what you might need.
Alongside talking things through, we may explore how past experiences are affecting you in the present, notice what is happening for you in the here and now, or gently pay attention to what your emotions and body may be communicating. Where it feels helpful, I can also bring creativity into our work, offering different ways of exploring thoughts and feelings when words are difficult to find.
If you’re considering counselling and would like to see whether I might be the right counsellor for you, I offer a free 15-minute introductory call with no obligation to book a session afterwards.
What Clients Say
Counselling can help with...

Depression & Low Mood
Living with depression can feel exhausting and isolating. You may feel low, disconnected from yourself or others, lack motivation, or find that things you once enjoyed no longer feel the same. Even everyday tasks can sometimes feel overwhelming.
Counselling can offer you a space to talk openly about how you're feeling, explore what may be contributing to your low mood and begin to reconnect with yourself, at a pace that feels manageable for you.
Anxiety & Stress
Anxiety and stress can affect us in many different ways. You may find yourself constantly overthinking, worrying about the future, feeling overwhelmed or as though you can never truly switch off. It can also affect you physically, leaving you feeling tense, restless or on edge.
Counselling can give you space to explore what may be behind these feelings, understand your patterns and triggers, and find ways to feel more grounded and able to cope when things become overwhelming.
Domestic Abuse
Whether you are currently experiencing domestic abuse, recovering from an abusive relationship, or trying to understand the lasting impact of coercive control or emotional abuse, counselling can provide a space where you feel safe, believed and supported.
Together, we can gently explore what you have experienced and the impact it has had on you, while supporting you to reconnect with your own feelings, needs and sense of self, at a pace that feels right for you.

Relationship Difficulties
Relationships can bring up difficult feelings around trust, communication, boundaries or feeling understood. You may notice the same patterns repeating or find that past experiences are affecting your relationships in the present.
Counselling can offer space to explore these patterns, understand yourself and your needs more deeply, and consider what you want from your relationships.
Life Transitions
Changes in life, whether expected or unexpected, can sometimes leave us feeling uncertain, overwhelmed or unsure of who we are. This might include changes in relationships, family, work, identity or other significant stages of life.
Counselling can provide space to make sense of what is changing and explore what this transition means for you as you adjust and find your way forward.
Self-Esteem
Low self-esteem can affect how you see yourself, your relationships and the choices you make. You may struggle with self-doubt, compare yourself to others or feel that you're never quite good enough.
Counselling can help you explore where these beliefs may have come from and begin to develop a more compassionate and accepting relationship with yourself.
